The blue light filter can be added to all our lenses. With or without powers. So, no matter what prescriptions you have, this is an excellent way of taking good care of your eyes and your general health.

Find your favourite frame. Click the Blue light filter option, click Fit in my powers or Add to Cart according to your needs.
Why use blue light filter with your lenses? The blue light of digital devices can cause headaches, eye strain and disturb your sleeping pattern. A blue light filter coating is a blue light blocker. Even with the blue light blocker we recommend taking pauses from digital devices such as computers, smartphones and TV-sets during the day.
By the way - all Carlottas Village glasses can be fitted with any lens of your choice; sun lenses for use as sunglasses. With powers according to your subscription or just as they are. We can also fit them with reading glasses to make your own personal ready readers.

Blue light glasses are spectacles where the lenses have an invisible filter that blocks the blue UV rays in the daylight. They come with or without power in the lenses, so everyone can use them. You can also get blue light filter on your sun lenses.
The daylight consists of several colours of light that altogether adds up to white. Most of the daylight is blue light and it also comes from digital screens where it causes invisible flicker that might lead to eyestrain, head ache and problems falling asleep at night for some people. When you add a blue light filter to your lenses the blue rays are blocked.
Regular lenses would not protect against blue light. You need to add a blue light filter to your lenses when you buy glasses. The filter is transparent and invisible, so it does not affect the way your lenses look.
